While building a school always seems like the right thing to do, the way in which it’s built and maintained sends an extremely strong message to the local community.
The land for this building site was donated by the local community. The federal government built a road so we could get the building materials onsite. The site is blessed by local monks. Local community members work and teach there. Every part of this school is owned by Cambodians. The only ownership shared across borders is in the honour of all contributors.
